About this Item

Gold-embossed half leather spine with original high-gloss, lacquered wooden cover. Painting print of Martin Fierro on front cover with gilt title. The lacquer coating is thick and has begun cracking down the middle of the cover in a spray of cracks. However, it is holding together very well with no chipping. The wood grain shows on either side of the picture, and is quite nice. Moderate wear to ends/lower edge of spine, lower corners chipped. Interior: Marbled light yellow pages with many colorful illustrations. Multi-lingual. 467 pgs total. Oversized book. Rare copy of this title.
