Illustrated with engravings, from the designs of Richard Westall. Very good early edition book. Professionally restored as to boards, spine and end papers. An original blank FFEP follows two new blank ones; then the half-title page "Marmion. A Romance. In Six Cantos", then the title-page with engraving and tissue-guard. A total of six engravings plus title engraving, all with tissue-guards. Consistent with the first edition, line 5 of the notes on page xvii reads "First lerges." (rather than "derges"). Some internal foxing, more so around the pages with the engravings, else text is clean and very legible. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition descriptions. Additional photos available at a your request. International sales to all countries other than the UK and Canada will require use of an alternative shipping company which will result in higher than the stated shipping costs. A signature upon receipt may also be required.
