Paperback. He knew what she was the moment she crossed his threshold. She's an investigator. It takes her five days to find out what he is. Nora Vasquez keeps an evidence file on everything. Six years with the Guild, tracking stolen relics and the lethal things that trade in them, and she has never once written down something she couldn't source. Then a charged bronze walks her into a quiet Manhattan antiquities shop, and the birthmark on her forearm flares to life. The man behind the counter answers every question. None of them all the way down. Zael has been alone for twelve hundred years. He knows exactly what Nora is - his one fated mate - and he knows what crossing his threshold just cost her. From tonight, every dark thing in the world can see her. He doesn't tell her. They're hunting pieces that could open a door in the world, and the closer they work the harder it gets to pretend the pull between them is just the case. When Nora learns what her mark means, she must choose whether to trust Zael, but can he let her? MARKED is a steamy, open-door fallen-angel romance - enemies-to-lovers to fated mates, dual first person, with a heroine who works the case beside the man who'd burn down the world for her. For readers of ACOTAR, From Blood and Ash, and Fourth Wing. Book 1 of Heaven's Exiles. Guaranteed HEA, no cliffhanger. This item is printed on demand.
