Paperback. Demian Mahem, a young vampire of over 4,000 years, has been on an tireless quest for justice for nearly a millennium. In the great vampire slaughter, most of his loved ones were wiped out, including his brother Bastian, whose death remains a haunting mystery. Alongside Amelie, another survivor from those dark times, Demian seeks not only answers to the massacre but also to protect his lineage from an ancient malevolent being trying to rise from the shadows. As darkness envelops the world, Demian and Amelie embark on a journey to thwart the nefarious plans of this ancient entity. The fate of all humanity now hangs in the balance, and the responsibility to protect their kind rests solely on their shoulders. Will they unravel the secrets of the past and prevent evil from prevailing, or will the shadows claim dominion over all existence?
