For years, business owners have been fed the same advice:
💡 “You just need more leads.”
💡 “If you could just get in front of the right people, you’d be set.”
💡 “Marketing is a numbers game—just keep throwing offers out there.”
And so, like Alice, many of us have spent years in a cycle of hustle and grind, believing that success is just one more sale away.
📌 We’ve built websites.
📌 We’ve run Facebook ads.
📌 We’ve tried networking, cold outreach, even fancy automation funnels.
Yet, despite all that effort, our businesses still feel like a never-ending treadmill, constantly chasing, constantly selling, but never quite breaking free.
If you’ve ever felt this way, you’re not alone.
And more importantly?
💡 It’s not your fault.
The problem isn’t that you’re not working hard enough. The problem is that the entire approach is flawed from the start.
The Myth of More
For too long, business success has been measured by how many new clients you can bring in.
❌ More leads = more revenue.
❌ More marketing = more growth.
❌ More sales = more success.
But what if that’s not actually true?
What if scaling your business wasn’t about getting more clients… but about keeping the right ones?
Think about it.
The most successful businesses in the world—Apple, Netflix, Amazon—aren’t built on constantly chasing new customers. They’re built on creating loyal, repeat buyers.
🔹 Netflix doesn’t sell you once - they keep you subscribed for years.
🔹 Amazon doesn’t just get one purchase - they make buying easy so you keep coming back.
And yet, most entrepreneurs and small business owners operate on a one-and-done model.
🚀 We get a client.
🚀 We deliver the service.
🚀 Then we have to start over from scratch.
This isn’t a business model—it’s survival mode.
And it’s exhausting.
If you’re tired of constantly having to chase new clients just to stay afloat, this book is for you.
The Shift That Changes Everything
What if, instead of chasing leads, you focused on serving your existing clients better?
What if, instead of burning out trying to find the next sale, you built a Customer Journey Map that:
✅ Naturally guided clients from first interaction to repeat purchase.
✅ Created loyalty, so people stayed with you instead of disappearing after one sale.
✅ Turned satisfied customers into raving fans who referred others.
That’s exactly what Alice discovered.
This book tells the story of her journey - not just what she did, but why she needed to do it.
Because before you can build a better system, you have to understand what’s broken.
What You’ll Take AwayBy the time you finish this book, you’ll have:
✔ A clear understanding of why most businesses struggle to scale (and how to fix it).
✔ The mindset shift you need to stop chasing and start attracting clients.
✔ A simple, powerful way to think about your customer journey—so growth becomes natural, not forced.
✔ Inspiration to take action and rethink how you serve your clients.
Instead, this book will help you fundamentally rethink your business model—so you can finally break free from the cycle of feast and famine and start building something sustainable.
If that sounds like the shift you’ve been searching for, then you’re in the right place.
So take a deep breath.
Let go of the stress, the endless marketing gimmicks, the pressure to “just work harder.”
Because scaling your business isn’t about doing more.
💡 It’s about doing what works.
And it all starts with mapping the right journey.
Let’s begin. 🚀

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
