A carefully brushed early 20th-century example of the circulation of traditional Chinese medical knowledge in Korea, signed by one Kim Young-Hwan. The largest illustration shows the area from the neck to waist divided into three focal regions governing the circulation of qi. Provenance: Martin Schøyen. Quarto (290 x 190 mm). With 58 manuscript leaves, all but first and last written both sides, 11 illustrations, red points. Text in Chinese occasional hangul annotations. Original red paper covers and thread xianzhuang stitching, front cover with manuscript lettering in black. Covers somewhat worn, leaves browned in margins: very good. Seller Inventory # 185698
