Jibin T. Philip is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kottayam, Kerala, India. Prior to this, he worked as a National Post-doctoral Fellow (N-PDF) funded by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He also contributed as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for a project funded by SERB-DST, Govt. of India and completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Mizoram, Aizawl, Mizoram, India in collaboration with National Institute of Technology Calicut, Kerala, India. He acquired the M. Tech and B. Tech degrees from A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India and Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India, respectively. He has published 25+ International/National Journal Papers (SCI/Scopus), 28+ International/National Conference Papers, 4 Book Chapters, and is the recipient of several awards and accolades at International/National levels, inclusive of those from Institute of Physics Publishing (IOP, UK), Centre des matériaux (Mines Paris - PSL, CNRS, Evry, France), The Institution of Engineers India (IEI), Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and International Travel Grant (SERB-DST India) for his excellence in research and academics. Philip is the Lead Editor for a book series and 3 book projects with the International Publisher: Taylor and Francis, USA in the areas of tribology, solid state processing, and natural fiber composites. He is frequently called upon as a reviewer for many International Peer-reviewed Journals of publishers, invited speaker for Seminars/Webinars/FDPs/Workshops, and is a member of Board of Studies (BoS) at Saintgits College of Engineering (Autonomous), Kottayam, Kerala, India. His primary research interests are in the fields of Tribology, Solid State Processing, Process-Structure-Property Correlation, Advanced Manufacturing/Machining, Surface Engineering, and Analysis/testing of materials (mechanical, metallurgical, morphological, corrosion, and bio-compatibility properties).

Chacko Preno Koshy is currently a Faculty of School of Mechanical Sciences and Technology, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram. He did his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering as well as M.Tech in Machine Design from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and PhD from National Institute of Technology, Calicut. His research group focuses on Nanotribology, Bio-based nano-lubricants and nano-fuels, Polymer-based nanocomposites, Synthesis of nanoparticles for lubricant applications and Bio-mechanics.
His research group has been granted 2 Australian Patents for the innovations in 2021. He has published over 30 international peer-reviewed journal papers, presented in more than 35 international/national conferences. He has undertaken sponsored research funding from various agencies like AICTE, CERD APJAKTU, KSCSTE. He has coordinated several FDPs/STTPs funded by AICTE, APJAKTU and KSCSTE in the area of Biomimetics, Nanotribology, Nanofluidics, Tribology and Surface Engineering.
He is the first Secretary of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Kerala Professional Section for the term 2024-25 & 2025-26, Joint Secretary of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Cochin Division (2022-24 & 2024-2026) and Executive Committee Member of Indian Society of Heat and Mass Transfer (ISHMT) (2023-26). He is an approved research supervisor of APJAKTU and also an Academic Auditor of the parent university. Currently, he is a reviewer of over ten prestigious technical journals.
He is a finalist of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) Innovative Doctoral Level Student Projects Award in Mechanical Engineering – 2019, Mentor of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) Innovative PG Student Projects Award in 2017. He received mentor award of ISTE – G.S.F.C. National Award for Best M.Tech. Thesis Award in Mechanical Engineering (First Prize) in 2017 and also mentor award of ISTE National Award for the Best B.Tech. Project in 2017. He and his students received 8 best papers/innovations awards in national and international conferences/contests. He was the Organizing Secretary of TRIBOINDIA 2021 - An International Conference on Industrial Tribology under the Aegis of Tribology Society of India (TSI) during December 2021. He was the Guest Editor of Special Issue of TRIBOINDIA 2021 in a prestigious journal.
He has also delivered more than 40+ invited talks in prestigious institutions like NIT Surat, NIT Calicut on various research fields related to nanofluidics, tribology, nanotribology, engine tribology, surface engineering and life cycle analysis of lubricants. He is also serving as a visiting faculty of Government Engineering Colleges of Kerala under Visiting Faculty Scheme of Government of Kerala. He is a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and Life Member of professional bodies such as Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Institution of Engineers (IE), Tribology Society of India (TSI), Indian Society of Heat and Mass Transfer (ISHMT) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
M. D. Mathew is currently Associate Provost and Dean of Research & International Relations at Saintgits College of Engineering (Autonomous), Kottayam, Kerala, India. He brings over three decades of experience in materials science and mechanical engineering, with a specialization in high-temperature materials behavior, creep deformation, and small-scale mechanical testing techniques such as impression creep and ball indentation. During his research career at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, spanning over 35 years, he made several major contributions to the development of fast breeder and fusion reactor technologies in India. The pioneering work on the creep life evaluation of ferritic-martensitic steels and austenitic stainless steels has influenced design methodologies for critical components in power and process industries. His research work led to the indigenous development of many advanced materials for critical applications in nuclear reactors.
Mathew is a graduate in Metallurgical Engineering, a postgraduate in Physics, a postgraduate in Business Administration, and a Doctorate in Physics-Metallurgy interdisciplinary. He has published over 220 research papers in national and international journals, presented over 100 research papers in national and international conferences, and published several books and book chapters. He is currently an Editor/ Key Reader/Reviewer of 17 international journals.
Mathew received research fellowships from several countries, including Japan, South Korea, Germany and USA, where he carried out research work at major nuclear research centres and universities. He is ranked among the top 2% Scientists in the World by Stanford University, USA, successively in the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. He received Asia's Outstanding Researcher Award, AIRA 2023, in recognition of his contributions in the field of nuclear energy for reducing global warming. He is also a Program Evaluator of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), USA. He is a Fellow of The India Institute of Metals, Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India), Fellow of the Indian Institute of Welding, member of The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society, USA, member of Global Engineering Deans Council, USA, and life member of several professional bodies in India.
In addition to his research contributions, Mathew has played a key role in fostering international academic partnerships, promoting interdisciplinary research, and mentoring early-career researchers. His vision for academic excellence and global engagement continues to shape the research ecosystem at Saintgits and beyond.

Effects of cancellation
