"What we call modern, dynamic psychiatry is neither a glamorous advance over the superstitions and practices of the witch-hunts, nor a regression from the humanism of the Renaissance and the scientific spirit of the Enlightenment. In actuality, Institutional Psychiatry is a continuation of the Inquisition. All that has really changed is the vocabulary and the social style." Soft cover, 383 pp. Moderate wear with creases and fading on spine, small hole punched on front cover, text is slightly age-toned otherwise unmarked, tight binding.
