Item description from seller

Manhattan, KS: Kansas State University Endowment Association, originally published in 1968. This edition is an annotated reprint dated 1977. Sold by the K-State Union Bookstore as a lab manual perhaps to accompany a course in botany by Professor Barkley, who also was Curator of the Herbarium. The title page states that this publication is Contribution No. 1000, Division of Biology, Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station, Kansas State University. It is a spiral bound, photocopied manual, perhaps a Kinko's production. It is in good condition, however, no faded pages or illegible print. Total pages vi + 402, thus a very hefty manual. Good, sound copy, probably used as a lab manual at K-State back in the late 70's or 80's.

Store description

I started selling books online around 1997-8, first on Bibliofind and then on Amazon. In my youth, I worked for a college textbook store and later at a university library. So I'm no stranger to scholarly books. Although semi-retired now, I still collect books and currently list for sale items no longer wanted in my personal library. Thus I do not have a large inventory as I am working from home. Still, I have an eclectic collection as befits a former librarian. My stock includes textbooks and scholarly books, with an emphasis on history, philosophy, and religion. My approval rating when I was with Amazon was 99% (2 were neutral). I'll try to accommodate any reasonable request.…
