Each volume contains 25 tissue guarded lithographed plates plus an illustrated title page,104 plates in total, index to engravings to front of Volume I First Editions thus , spines rubbed with small tears, joints worn, small parts of spine detaching to top of Volume I and II, corners scuffed, prize and library labels to front pastedowns, gutta percha perished and some plates detached from binding particularly in Volume I, foxing throughout which does slightly affect some plates, fair to good condition , red cloth, black and gilt stamped decoration and titles to front boards, gilt titles to spines, blindstamped decoration to rear boards, gilt top edges , large quarto, 38 cm x 29 cm Hardback ISBN.
