The Men’s Guide to Menopause: A Funny, Honest Survival Manual for Men Supporting Their Partners Through Menopause.
Men, are you baffled by your partner’s sudden hot flushes, unpredictable mood swings, brain fog thicker than London smog, or midnight sweats that could drown a duvet? Welcome to the rollercoaster called menopause. Don’t panic -this isn’t another boring medical textbook. This is a laugh-out-loud, straight-talking, and fact-packed menopause survival guide for men that explains what’s really going on when her hormones turn life upside down.
Forget endless Google searches or jargon-filled articles. This funny menopause book for husbands, boyfriends, and partners introduces Manslation™—a revolutionary system for translating menopause symptoms into bloke-friendly analogies. Think of it as “Google Translate for hormones,” breaking down confusing changes into terms even the most practical, DIY-loving man can understand.
The author has spent over a decade navigating menopause first hand -battling mood swings, hot flushes powerful enough to fry an egg, and brain fog that could scramble NASA’s computers. Now, she’s handing you the tools, humour, and real knowledge you need to support your partner with confidence (and maybe save your sanity in the process).
Covering 24 of the most common and baffling menopause symptoms -from weight gain to sleep disruption - each chapter mixes laugh-out-loud comparisons with genuinely helpful explanations. You’ll learn to see energy crashes as engine failures, mood swings as electrical surges, and night sweats as a faulty radiator. This isn’t just comedy- it’s comedy with clarity and Menopause symptoms explained simply.
And here’s the kicker: beneath the humour lies solid, reliable advice sourced from the British Menopause Society, the NHS, and other trusted experts. You’ll get straight answers on treatments like HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy), lifestyle hacks to ease the chaos, and natural remedies that actually work. It’s like a Haynes Manual for menopause - written for men who’d rather fix the boiler than read a medical journal.
This menopause book for men won’t magically make you a menopause whisperer. But it will give you the knowledge, empathy, and perspective to be the ultimate pit crew for your partner during this midlife overhaul. Menopause is a journey for both of you, and with humour, understanding, and this Midlife marriage survival guide you’ll get through it stronger (with fewer slammed doors and more wine).
Think of it as a relationship toolkit disguised as comedy. Whether you’re battling mood swings, night sweats, or midlife misunderstandings, giving him this menopause survival guide for men could mean fewer arguments, more support, and a lot more empathy. Many women say it feels like handing their partner the “missing manual” for menopause—and let’s be honest, that’s something every couple could use.
So if you want your boyfriend, husband, or partner to finally “get” what’s happening, buy him this book today. It might just save your marriage, strengthen your bond, and remind you both that love, and laughter, really are the best medicine.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
