Item description from seller

Stapled extremely large sheets. Text is in English, French, German and Italtian. This issue is exclusively focused on the Soviet Union, and Moscow in particular. Breathtaking in the size (50 x 70 cm) (19.7 x 27.5 inches), this magazine looks more like a newspaper. "The Manipulator" magazine was published between 1984 - 1994. Limited circulation of 450 copies and published three times a year from 1987. "The Manipulator" became known for it`s superior display of photographs in an over large format poster like size magazine. Geared towards design, art, architecture, and photography. It was one of the first magazines to address world ecological issues. The quality and size of "The Manipulator" was so impressive that Helmut Newton published his "Sumo" book in the same size. This issue may be an extra, since it *seems* to be lacking the outer wrapper. VG, with foxing spots to the extremities of the covers or outside sheets.
