Paperback. "Be a Man." Perhaps you've heard these words before. What do they mean? For some, these words mean "don't cry," because real men don't show emotion. Or they might mean "tough it out," because men are to be strong, never weak.Tom Fortson suggests that these words mean something different, something more. God created man with a unique role, and called them to be sons of the King. According to Fortson, these truths must define what it means to be a man.Manhood: Let the Truth be Told walks through a biblical understanding of manhood to clear away the lies and replace them with truth. And with chapters like "Because Forever is a Long Time: The Battle for Eternity" and "Some Days You Wish You Never Left the Office: The Battle for Home," this message is not simply food for thought; it is armor for real life. The time is now for men to be men. Join Fortson today to discover what "be a man" really means. Fortson, president of the men's ministry Promise Keepers, discusses what be aman means in its biblical sense.
