This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -'The only thing harder than planning for an emergency is explaining why you didn't.' Dental emergencies can and do occur in the dental set up. Preparing for them begins with a team approach by the dentist and staff members who have up-to-date knowledge and the ability to react immediately to the emergency at hand. It includes telephoning for help and having the equipment and drugs needed to respond to an emergency as they mean the difference between successful management and failure. This book is a comprehensive, well-illustrated account providing many facets to deal with dental emergencies. The book draws together various disciples explaining ways to approach and deal with an emergency in a step by step, practical and feasible manner. It is the author's hope that that by drawing on wealth of experience contained in the book, clinicians will be better able to evaluate current treatment modalities and concepts and to improve planning of their own treatment procedures. 160 pp. Englisch.…
