Malibu’s Cooking Again is a uniquely "Malibu", colorfully illustrated cookbook combining recipes from celebrity chefs and prominent local cooks, together with stories celebrating heroism and kindness in the face of a natural disaster. It’s a look "behind the scenes" in Malibu, reflecting not only elegance and fine dining, but also the bonds formed by families and communities whenever good food, warmth and stories are shared and passed down through the generations.

But Malibu’s Cooking Again is more than just a collection of recipes from the area's finest restaurants. This book grew out of the Malibu community’s desire to help those whose lives had been devastated by a terrible firestorm which swept out of the hills above Malibu.
