Hardback. Dust Jacket. Book in Very Good condition. Dust Jacket Good only. Pictorial stiff card boards, large format, not inscribed, 192 pages Fully illustrated throughout. The pictorial Dust Jacket is a replica of the boards. There is damp staining to the inside of the dust jacket with some marks and creasing to front cover. This book is an authoritative account of how the world's most deadly military units are created and kept in a state of high readiness. It shows how the realistic and arduous training of such as the S A S, Green Berets and SEAL's ensures that only the best recruits get through, and how formations such as the US 82nd Airborne Division are organised to deploy at a moment's notice to any trouble spot in the world.
