During Amy's junior year in high school, her parents had a summer home built on the waterfront at Carolina Beach. During her first summer in the new beach house, she met Mason, who lived year-round on the island and was working his second summer at the locally famous Britt's Donut Shop. After their first meeting and a long walk on the beach, they both believed they had met someone like no one they had known before. They fell in love that summer. Amy's mother decided she would stop at nothing to end their relationship. She saw Mason as a threat to her dream for Amy to attend the Julliard School of Music and become a famous violinist. Through a series of lies and manipulation, she pulls Mason and Amy apart. The old saying goes, "True love never dies." Will that be the case with Amy and Mason, even after years apart? Seventeen years after he last saw Amy, Mason is mysteriously asked to come to a mailbox installed by a couple many years ago along the coast in Sunset Beach, a place visited often by Amy and her aunt, Mary. The Kindred Spirit Mailbox had famously become home to letters of love and loss. Mason has no idea his visit to the mailbox will change his life forever. It is an ending you will not soon forget.…
