Humans long ago turned their backs on magic and the Oaken were charged with keeping it alive. Moving through glittering ballrooms and elegant manor houses, they find the most powerful magic...is love.
A connection between souls
It only took one look for Lord Alastair Davenport to know that Lady Cecily Sinclair was meant to be his when they met as children. Only one obstacle stood in his way...their families were enemies.
After years of scheming, he finally puts his plan into place, with Cecily as the key to ending hostilities and bringing peace to both their families. He never thought his greatest challenge would be convincing Cecily herself.
A dream finally becoming reality
Cecily knew from the moment she met him, that there was a tie that bound them together no matter what their last names were. She kept her fascination secret, and her dreams of what could be deep within her heart until she was faced with him once again during a house party.
Finding the man fascinated her just as much as the boy had, she rapidly found herself falling under his spell. But there were secrets brewing in the house and mysteries she'd been charged with solving before she could look to her heart.
But when she discovers just how far Alastair will go to have her, he will need to work fast to convince her it was all because of...the Magic of You.

About the Author
I love to read. I can't remember a time when I didn't have a book in my hand no matter where I was and that love of reading inspired me to write my own stories.
As a young girl, I scribbled original short stories in cheap spiral-bound notebooks during class (after I finished my work, of course! I was one of those quiet, 'good' students) and then would read them to my friends during recess. I was writing romances even then.
I continued writing during college and into adulthood (working as an assistant manager of our family's gift store, as an administrative assistant and as a kinder/1st grade teacher), finding my voice with stories and characters that seemed to fill my head fully-formed. I took the plunge and decided to join the indie publishing movement (I love the creative freedom), hoping to find readers who love romance touched with magic as much as I do.
I write what I love to read: light fantasy romances with humor, heart, and a swirl of magic!
My characters like to banter, have family and friends that offer humor and support, have magical Gifts and fall in love with their Seraphins (my take on the soulmate trope). The stories take place in settings from cozy magical bakery's to exotic mythical island kingdoms to elegant manor houses.
Each book is light, emotional, and cozy with a guaranteed Happily-Ever-After at the end. My hope is you close each book with a sigh and smile, feeling uplifted and happy as you go about your day.
