About the Author: Yvonne Krajenbrink Hulin was born in West Concord, Massachusetts. She studied Graphic Design at California State University in Fullerton, as well as Library Science and Child Development at Fullerton College in California. Her career resume also includes working in production and aerospace art and as a freelance artist. Yvonne is Dutch Indonesian and lived most of her life in Anaheim, California. As a child, she spent a number of years in Spain and the Netherlands. Currently, Yvonne resides in Greensboro, North Carolina where she works as an after-school teacher for General Greene Elementary. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, gardening and writing. In 2012, Yvonne illustrated the children’s book “Gretchen and the Gremlins” by Jerome A. Holst. The book is a heart-warming tale of a little girl who embarks on an adventure to get back her favorite teddy bear when it is taken away by toy-snatching gremlins. Her second book "My Magic Box of Shapes,” (2014) was originally written in 1997 and later published in "Lighthouse Magazine for Children'" This wonderful story follows a little boy as he plays with the many colorful shapes inside a magical box.
