A Good copy of a loose-leaf publication in a hardcover binder of ".a practical method for learning machine shop work, by a study of actual jobs--it simplifies and shortens the training period." From Contents page:"First printing, February 1937 . Reprinted, October 1942" Title page does have the year 1944. Wear to brick red binder. Separation along spine hinge on front cover. Small separation and creasing to bottom of spine. Two screws hold the pages in the binder. Top flat head screw is not flush with the cover as the stopper is missing at the back, but the pages are secure. Wear to page edgings with a deep scratch causing small tears to the side edgings. "Notes: Loose-leaf, In 13 sections, each section with a special title page and separate pagination"Contents Sections: Measuring tools; Bench work; Layout work; The drill press; The lathe; The shaper; The planer; Horizontal boring mill; Vertical boring mill; The slotter; The milling machine; Floor work; Grinding"Description: approximately 500 pages : illustrations ; 28 cm."
