Soy Claudia Polo y siempre bailo en la cocina. Es donde mejor he aprendido a relacionarme con lo que me rodea y conmigo misma y, por eso, también desde allí quiero enseñar y comunicar lo que para mí es la gastronomía. Soul In The Kitchen es el proyecto en el que educo sobre una alimentación consciente a través de la creatividad y una relación sana con nuestro cuerpo y ecosistema. La comida tiene el poder de mejorar social y medioambientalmente nuestro entorno, y el conocimiento es lo que nos permite elegir cómo alimentarnos.
He estudiado el grado en Gastronomía y Artes Culinarias en el Basque Culinary Center y, a lo largo de estos años, he trabajado en Comunicación Gastronómica, como profesora de cocina, en restaurantes y en un bosque sueco, donde cocinábamos en hogueras junto a un lago. Escribo, muchas veces en cuadernos, y profesionalmente en El Comidista, El País Gastro, Hambre Magazine. Mi primer contacto con la edición fue a través de Mañanitas: desayunos y rituales, un libro autopublicado que trata el momento del desayuno como un ritual. Colaboro en Aragón Radio y Radio Zaragoza. Me gusta hacer cosas con gente, tener ideas y llevarlas a cabo. Y ser anfitriona: en mi mesa siempre habrá un hueco libre.
I am Claudia Polo, and I always dance in the kitchen. It's where I've best learned to connect with my surroundings and myself, and that's why it's also where I want to teach and share what gastronomy means to me. Soul In The Kitchen is the project where I educate about mindful eating through creativity and a healthy relationship with our bodies and ecosystems. Food has the power to improve our social and environmental surroundings, and knowledge is what allows us to choose how we nourish ourselves.
I studied Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Basque Culinary Center, and over the years, I have worked in Gastronomic Communication, as a cooking instructor, in restaurants, and in a Swedish forest where we cooked over campfires by a lake. I write--often in notebooks--and professionally for El Comidista, El País Gastro, Hambre Magazine. My first experience with publishing was through Mañanitas: desayunos y rituales, a self-published book that treats breakfast as a ritual. I collaborate with Aragón Radio and Radio Zaragoza. I love creating things with people, having ideas, and bringing them to life. And being a host--there will always be an open seat at my table.
Mi nombre es Blasina Rocher. Soy pintora e ilustradora (1991, Zaragoza). Amante de la luz, el color y las flores. Disfruto de la calma en los gestos cotidianos y de encontrar la belleza en todo lo que me rodea. Desarrollé mi carrera artística de manera autodidacta; el papel y el lápiz siempre me han acompañado desde mis primeros años en la infancia hasta el presente.
Entre 2015 y 2018 comencé a exponer mis obras y a participar en ferias, mientras creaba mi marca personal, en la que diseño desde entonces colecciones de agendas y papelería concebidas para cultivar la presencia, la armonía y el bienestar interior. También nació mi primer libro, Mañanitas: Desayunos y rituales, inspirado en la idea de llenar las mañanas de inspiración y transformar nuestros despertares en un ritual.
Como ilustradora, trabajo anualmente en diversos proyectos para otras marcas, que abarcan desde textil y papelería hasta creación de packaging, talleres, murales y escaparates, ponencias, pintura en vivo para eventos y dirección de arte. Algunas de mis colaboraciones y menciones en prensa incluyen: Compañía Fantástica, Sephora, El Corte Inglés, The Hoff Brand, It's Lava, Grosso, Nana Food, Ambar, Marie Claire, Glamour, Elle, Tapas Magazine y SModa.
My name is Blasina Rocher. I am a painter and illustrator (1991, Zaragoza). A lover of light, color, and flowers. I cherish the calm found in everyday gestures and seek beauty in everything around me. I developed my artistic career self-taught; paper and pencil have accompanied me from my earliest childhood years to this very moment.
Between 2015 and 2018, I began exhibiting my works and participating in fairs while building my personal brand, where I have been designing collections of planners and stationery ever since--created to cultivate presence, harmony, and inner well-being. My first book, Mañanitas: Desayunos y rituales, was born from the idea of filling mornings with inspiration and turning our wake-up moments into a ritual.
As an illustrator, I work annually on various projects for other brands, ranging from textiles and stationery to packaging design, workshops, murals and storefront displays, lectures, live painting for events, and art direction. Some of my collaborations and press mentions include: Compañía Fantástica, Sephora, El Corte Inglés, The Hoff Brand, It's Lava, Grosso, Nana Food, Ambar, Marie Claire, Glamour, Elle, Tapas Magazine, and SModa.
