nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Through the Mutiny: Reminiscences of Thirty Years' Active Service and Sport in India, 1854-83 is the compelling memoir of Colonel Thomas Nicholls Walker of the Bengal Staff Corps, first published in 1907. Drawing on three decades of service in British India, Walker provides a valuable firsthand account of the Indian Rebellion of 1857, including the Siege of Delhi and operations in Rohilkund. Alongside his military experiences, he vividly describes the hunting, sport and everyday life of an officer serving in India, offering an intriguing portrait of the era from both military and personal perspectives.
