Feedback from customers and author's intent
This book was written for the entry level practitioner in the field of production and inventory management or for someone who has no experience in the subject of an integrated planning and control system. This book is intended to be used as a time to time reference as well as to be read cover to cover. The feedback I have received from people who have read it is that it is very easy to read and upon repeated readings, the book appears to have changed and offers more than was seen on the first reading. The book was originally intended for small businesses but the reviewers on the book immediately sawy the application to larger companies faced with such changing times today. This book will provide you with a good background to begin on the road to MRP, MRPII or ERP implementation.
