Bw illustrated card wraps with gold lettering. Deep French flaps, illustrated. 275 pp. with illus. throughout in color and bw. Also a booklet of white, stapled paper wraps with bw drawings and color photos; 71 pp. with 5 folding plates and one gatefold. Both housed in a board slipcase matching the main, bw volume. Texts in Spanish (Mexican) and English. A documentation of the entire exhibition history of the MPBA, from its opening in 1934 to 2012; 78 shows in all. Includes a section on the history of the museum itself, a complete chronological list of the exhibtions. Full of essays, images in color and bw, and all sorts of fascinating artistic information on/by art, artists, museum directors, etc. The white booklet is essays by the current generation of artists on their interpretations of the murals in the Palacio. Authors include Jorge Satorre, Edgardo Aragon, Omar Barquet, Marcela Armas with Santiago Itzcoatl, Julieta Aranda, and Pablo Lopez Luz.

Our specialties include the Humanities, with an emphasis on Art, Architecture, Photography, Decorative Arts, History, as well as Periodicals related to those areas. We have very rare as well as fairly common titles. Current inventory is approximately 79,000 titles. We have about 1000' of backlog in our specialties numbering over 30,000 items (including 20,000+ smaller and ephemeral catalogues devoted to individual artist exhibitions). Current stock occupies over 2.3 miles of shelving. We are active buyers as well as very active sellers, and supply entire reference libraries as well as individual titles. We ship books almost everywhere, with the exception of China due to restrictions. Our website mullenbooks.com maintains our entire database of over 150,000 titles dynamically, so you can submit "wants" for books which are listed, but not currently in-stock.
