About this Item
pp104. 58 engravings. very scarce Victorian model yachting title, and quite an influential work in its day, with the author advocating the cutter rig, with two headsails to balance the main for steering control, based on extensive research to find the optimum hull and rig for a successful model racing yacht. the original green cloth binding is a little worn and internally the rather basic wire stitching is beginning to disintegrate. two preliminary blank pages are rather dirty and slightly damaged.
