Encadernação antiga inteira de marroquim vermelho com ferros a ouro nas esquadrias das pastas e super-libris eclesiástico armoriado (leão rampante sobre besante vermelho) sobre as ambas as pastas. Lombada renovada e corte das folhas dourado. Profusamente ilustrado no texto com cerca de 18 xilogravuras (ca. 16x7 cm); centenas de letras maiúsculas decorativas; xilogravuras menores no texto que descrevem os vários episódios da vida de Cristo; e muitas xilogravuras menores. representando cenas da vida de Cristo e da ordenação de sacerdotes. Duas gravuras em página inteira com a Crucificação (verso folio não numerado 16, e verso fólio 130). Notas marginais impressas e muitas páginas de notações musicais. Soberba impressão veneziana em magníficos caracteres góticos. A folha de rosto adornada com a marca do impressor (flor-de-lis com as iniciais LA) a vermelho, a mesma aparece também no cólofon. Título e texto todos soberbamente impressos a duas cores (preto e vermelho), e alguns folios na sua maior parte impressos em vermelho (vide fólios 121 e 124). Este missal da Igreja Católica Romana foi publicado em Veneza pelos herdeiros de Lucantonio Giunta em 1563. O Missal Romano é um livro litúrgico que contém as orações e leituras para a celebração da Missa. A partir do século 11, o Cânone da Missa aparece no meio do Missal (fólio 131) e desde o tempo do Papa Inocêncio III (1198-1216) tem sido hábito colocar uma imagem da Crucificação no início do Cânone (fólio 130 verso). Superb 16th Century Venetian Missal printed in gothic types. Printer"s device (fleur-de-lys with initials L A) in red on the title page, and also in red on the final leaf or colophon. Title and text all superbly double printed in black and red, and some folia mostly printed in red (vide folio 121 and folio 124). Bound in a luxury early morocco gilt and tooled at folders and with a priestly ex-libris (not identified ownership). Profusely illustrated with circa 18 woodcut plates (16x7 cm) on the text; hundreds of decorative capital letters; smaller woodcuts on the text depicting various episodes in the life of Christ; and many smaller woodcuts depicting scenes in the life of Christ and ordination of priests. Two full pages with woodcuts of Christ on the cross (verso un. folio 16 and verso folio 130). Printed marginalia and many pages of musical notations. This Roman Catholic missal was published in Venice by the heirs of Lucantonio Giunta in 1563. The Missale Romanum is a liturgical book that contains the prayers and readings for the celebration of Mass. From the 11th Century onward, the Canon started to appear in the middle of the Missal (folio 131 recto) and since the time of Pope Innocent III (1198-1216) it has been customary to place a picture of the Crucifixion at the beginning of the Canon (folio 130 verso). If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us or Livraria Castro e Silva, Avenida Almirante Reis, 89D, 1150-013 Lisboa, Portugal, 351 213467380, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
