small 4to. cloth, dust jacket. xii, (ii), 310 pages. Printed by Anderson & Ritchie at The Ward Ritchie Press. Spine of jacket lightly age darkened with some shelfwear, else near fine. The first volume issued from the collection of the Memorial Library of Music at Stanford, created through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. George T. Keating to honor the alumni who gave their lives in World War II. The catalogue is a collection of more than 1200 entries of manuscripts and printed scores inscribed by composers and musicians, including Debussy, Scarlatti, Beethoven, Berlioz, Sir Arthur Sullivan, Igor Stravinsky, and many others. Arranged alphabetically by composer. Illustrated throughout with manuscript facsimiles and photographs.
