Store description

We have been selling books with some success for over twenty years. In 1995, we opened a bookshop in the Peak District village of Castleton and traded successfully there until 2010. In addition to selling through the shop we developed an Internet business and built a reputation for a good and reliable service. The stock, which covers a wide range of subjects, but particularly ornithology and natural history, has constantly been improved, so we now over 9000 volumes of quality books. In March of 2019 we established a shop in the attractive market town of Bakewell in the Peak District National Park. The shop is open five days a week from 10.00 to 17.00 (closed Wednesday and Sunday). Customers are very welcome to visit the shop (tel: 01629 815547) or email books@hawkridge.co.uk
