The third printing, Sept. 1939, 247 pages, illustrated. "In compiling this book we have tried to present in a concise form the organisation of the medical establishments and the accepted treatment of the types of wounds which may be expected in Air Raids." It is hoped that this small volume will be carried in the pocket for reference if desired.Though the technique must be based, of necessity, on our experience of surgery in the late War, we have endeavoured throughout to envisage the needs of a future Air Raid, and to this end E. M. Cowell visited Spain in December, 1938, so as to acquire first-hand information of modern Air Raid casualties. We have been able also to obtain some authentic, if somewhat scanty, information as to the treatment of wounds in China." VERY GOOD HARDCOVER, GOOD DUST JACKET. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
