This copy from the library of Artie Shaw, with his ownership signature on front paste-down. Dark red cloth has light rubbing to spine ends, with dent along fore-edge of cover. Evidence of water damage on rear cover, effecting the corner of the endpaper. Artie Shaw was an American clarinetist and popular bandleader of the 1930s and '40s.
