i-xii, 1-154, [1], concluding blank pages 155-170 intended for owner notes. Hardcover: H 24.75cm x L 17cm. No dust jacket. Dark red cloth soiled and stained; beveled board edges with worn corners; spine ends frayed; gilt lettering to spine and front board still fairly bright. Gilt top edge; deckle fore-edge and bottom edge. Ink ownership inscription on front pastedown. Pencil markings on text pages; some soiling and toning; fair number of leaves have creased fore-edge corners along; a few leaves have some shallow chipping and/or short tears at margins. Glue repairs to cracked front and rear hinges; pages 145-148 detached but also glued back in; several leaves pulled. With several b/w plates and two page verso/recto charts which are paged individually. Sold as is as a reading copy only.
