- Book 4 of 10: Mastering Technical Analysis: step by step and build the complete chart reading, indicator, pattern recognition, volume analysis
Master the MACD indicator, improve your timing, and build a disciplined trading system for smarter active trading decisions.
Many traders add MACD to their charts, but few truly understand how to use it with structure. They react too late to crossovers, misread divergences, ignore the histogram, over-optimize settings, and enter trades without confirming market context.
MACD Trading Masterclass for Active Traders: Harness the Power of MACD to Elevate Your Trading Strategies is a practical guide for traders who want to move beyond basic signals and use the Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator with clarity, precision, and discipline.
This book shows you how to interpret MACD correctly, customize its settings, combine it with other indicators, adapt it to different market conditions, manage risk, and build a complete trading process.
Inside, you will discover how to:- Understand the MACD line, signal line, histogram, and zero line
- Calculate MACD using the 12-period EMA, 26-period EMA, and 9-period signal line
- Interpret bullish and bearish MACD crossovers with greater confidence
- Use regular and hidden MACD divergence to identify potential reversals and trend continuations
- Read histogram expansion, contraction, momentum shifts, and early warning signals
- Adapt MACD settings for day trading, swing trading, position trading, volatile markets, and trend-following strategies
- Combine MACD with RSI, moving averages, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci levels, volume, ATR, ADX, and support and resistance
- Improve timing and execution across bullish, bearish, trending, ranging, and high-volatility markets
- Build a personal MACD trading system with clear entry rules, exit rules, stop-losses, position sizing, and performance reviews
- Avoid false signals, over-optimization, choppy-market traps, confirmation bias, and emotional trading mistakes
- Explore MACD automation, algorithmic trading, backtesting, live deployment, AI, Big Data, blockchain verification, and future market trends
MACD is not a magic indicator. It is a momentum and trend tool.
Used correctly, it can help traders identify shifts in direction, confirm momentum, filter market noise, recognize weakening trends, and improve decision-making.
The included 30-Day Action Plan helps you apply the lessons step by step: learning MACD basics, calculating indicator values, identifying crossovers and divergences, testing different configurations, applying advanced strategies, developing your personal system, integrating risk management, exploring automation, and setting your next trading milestones.
This book is ideal for:- Active traders who want to master MACD
- Day traders, swing traders, forex traders, stock traders, futures traders, options traders, and crypto traders
- Traders interested in technical analysis, crossovers, divergences, and histogram analysis
- Readers who want to combine MACD with RSI, Bollinger Bands, moving averages, and volume
- Anyone ready to stop following random signals and start building a disciplined MACD trading system

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
