Paperback. Two intelligent and successful families, seperated by over a 1000 miles, have lives that are irrevocably connected and entertwined because one woman cannot control her impulses to spend money. Millie Dzelinic is supposed to be saving her parent's inheritance to send her daughter off to an Ivy League College. But the lure of the malls and outlets is too tempting and Millie finds herself in a jam when her bank account starts to run dry. This time, her steady and reliable husband will not pull her out of the hole she has dug for herself. Plotting, planning, and pleading forces Millie to make irresponsible decisions to fix the problem that not only affect her own family but the lives of others who are inexplicably drawn into her devious and deceitful problem solving strategies. Money Stands for Trouble makes the reader realize that the choices we make in our lives don't always have to define who we are. Change is possible if we decide to do so.
