I know it's not that popular anymore; I know I may be shown the door, But I submit this book of poetry For the whole world to see. I am a very simple man; I try to do the best that I can. My skill level is not that high; I do what I do to get by. We all try to change the world; Sometimes we don't know where we're hurled. But wherever that place will be; No one can take these words away from me. We live in an age that is very fast-paced; We all need to slow down-yes, the whole human race. If this book can help you change your mind, Then the rest of the world won't be far behind. Poems of love and hate, peace and war, and romance I would like to thank you in advance; Thank you for taking the time to read my words; My deepest wish is that they lift you up to fly with the birds. Aaron Jones was inspired to begin writing poetry through the influence of his brother's band. As the title of the collection suggests, his verse is set the form of song and is intended to be set to music.

I don't need everything to be the best
I just want everything to be the best it can be
This is something that I must confess
I'll show you the difference just wait and see
You think everyone who lives in a mansion is content
That everyone who lives in a shack is heartbroken
Some of the happiest people can't pay their rent
The happy ones will always leave you hoping
We're all hoping on hope—Hoping we don't miss the boat

What good is all this anyway without love?
The richest can be the most miserable of all

We're all on this earth for different reasons

In the devil's lair or in God's good graces

Peace on earth, a butterfly, and never-ending love
