《蘭香》是贝鲁平又一部中短篇小说集,小说关注时代,关注人心,关注当下。记录中国近三十年来小市民的酸甜苦辣、他们的日常生活和心灵伤痛,以及各种人物的生存百态。在《夢中影像》中,單身男士蘇少卿每年清明上墳,路過一位年輕女孩的墓地時,總是逗留片刻,一次不慎摔倒骨折,在家養傷時夢見自己跟她在一起,且用手機為她拍了照片,醒來後查看手機,夢中所拍照片駭然出現在手機上,既感詭異卻又想再次見到她,這讓他的親友匪夷所思,而他卻愛上了這個夢中女人、而夢中女人就是墓中女人......情節曲折故事带有灵异色彩,却耐人尋味。《子夜麗人》中的主人公"我"是個編輯,在出版社設計圖書封面,一次夜場電影后,邂逅同一社區的殷珂小姐,兩人都喜歡看懸疑恐怖電影,于是互相留了微信。一次午夜時分,"我"突然接到殷珂小姐的電話,當"我"去她房間看到一個男人昏死在床上時,"我"震驚不已。這個將死的男人究竟是誰?為什麼會死在她床上?這情景誰遇上都會感到棘手,而主人公"我"如何應對呢?在《蘭香》中,外来妹蘭香開始到人家裡當保姆,後跟男主人有染,為他生了孩子,被女主人趕出來,回家鄉療傷後回到城裡當了按摩女,接觸形形色色男女,跟他们周旋。看似遊刃有餘,卻危機四伏差點被人害死。在《老街往事》中,則寫了上海老街的幾個中年男人,他們情況各異,卻都有自己的個性和生活目標。主人公徐鑫甡是個老上海,快五十歲了却還沒成家立業。由於性格關係對談婚論嫁卻始終心有餘悸,然而終於通過親友認識了外來妹秦可丹,儘管才二十七歲,卻已離過婚最后跟她结婚,结局出人意料。至於《養老院》、《昨夜夢見了你》、《討債》、《病房》等篇介于虛構與非虛構之間,或許這些故事和人物會引起爭議。如《討債》中主人公的女兒,她為了父親的債務真能出賣自己身體嗎?讀者會有疑問,但耐心咀嚼,會產生共鳴。总之,《蘭香》探索人物命运和这个时代的关系,叙述那些在我们生活中曾经存在与消失的瞬间。小说结构严谨文字凝练,故事精彩令人回味,相信读者會喜欢。

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Information regarding the right of withdrawal

Statutory right to withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to GreatBookPrices, Bensenville, Illinois, U.S.A., without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
