Paperback. A different kind of ghost story from the mind of Pepper Pace. For Kai, Vegas is a living graveyard filled with the ghosts of those who died during the apocalypse generations before she was born. Except for Addy, a well-meaning, grumpy old woman, her only friends are the dead. Kai makes do as a scavenger, finding things for her customers using her special gifts. Business is good with Vegas rebuilding and settlers flooding in, all of them fantasizing about living the posh life of the ancients. The thing is, they can only imagine the world before nuclear destruction. Kai can actually see it. She has plenty to navigate: her love life-or the lack of it, her boss Teeka Fox's dangerous rivalry with the Black Heart Crew, and the visions that grow stronger with each passing day as the full moon approaches. And now there's the new guy in town. The one with two different colored eyes-just like she used to have before she removed one of them. With his arrival, her abilities are once again changing. Why?
