Store description

Established in 1971 in Denver's historic Park. Hill neighborhood, we are the oldest continuously operated not-for-profit bookstore in the Denver metro area. Managed by a seven-person Board of Directors and staffed entirely with community volunteers, we are able to offer a large selection of used books at low prices. As part of our mission to support community literacy, we provide funds to local school libraries to expand their collections, and donate to local programs focused on increasing reading proficiency itself as well as cultivating the joy of lifelong reading. Our surplus books have gone to area homeless shelters, senior citizen centers, jails, and even to Africa to help establish school and community libraries there.

Specialty

Used books. in standard categories; mostly for adult readers; but a few children's classics
