Condition: Fair. 1933. First Edition. 240 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrations. Boots ex-library rebind with associated stickers and markings to pages and boards. Clean pages and illustrations with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil and pen markings to front pastedown and free endpaper. Frontispiece and illustration opposite page 86 are detached but still present. Hinges are slightly cracked with exposed netting. Pen marks to bottom edges textblock. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends.
