Size of (possibly trimmed down) sheet: 8 1/2" x 12 5/8", size of engraved image: 6 7/8" x 9 1/2". Upper edge on reverse shows a strip of gummed paper, used as a mounting tab, small imperfection in paper near figure's left arm & tree, some slight, age-related tanning present. Engraved portrait from a book or larger numbered series, possibly from the Liber Veritatis series of portraits by Claude Lorrain. Scan shows the image. From the personal collection of Pittsburgh fine arts dealer, Charles A. Wunderly. Sold as an example of copperplate engraving. Seller Inventory # ABE-207261803
