About the Author

The author, Jim H. White, trained as a physical system scientist and learned to search for the big questions in Science; then in life itself. As Jesuis Laplume I have written many books ‘in the flow,’ most of them directed to the exploding fusion of leading edge Science and the spirituality component of both Philosophy and Religion. The Ancient Greeks postulated that Science and Philosophy were the two, very different sides of the one coin of all knowledge. They also suggested that the tools that were best used for the two quests were not the same. After many decades of study, I firmly believe that this is still a great Truth, even though we have evolved a goodly deal since then. We have done great things in the How questions of Science, but are also evolving greater comprehension of the ‘Who are we’ and ‘Why we are here’ questions of Philosophy.
