Paperback. This is a love story about a violin. In truth, it is a psychiatric history of possession of and by a red violin. It is written in the format of a play, actually, two stories with a sequel, because in so doing I could visualize the settings and characters better than with a novel format. The story relates how my cousin Rembert found a red Stradivari violin called The Mendelssohn, sold it, bought it again, then hid it possessively, and died. It is a story of possession. Some will say it is a story of obsession. The added sequel, "I Have a Soul," can be separated or produced separately as a children's play. I have included the sequel with the main body of work because both tell a story about a red violin, and I wanted to make the story available to children. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
