Paperback. A searing novel that conveys, with at times alarming sincerity, what goes on in the depths of a womans soul when she in love: her feelings, thoughts and contradictions as she recognises that the hardest thing is preserving that feeling of love in the face of blatant manipulation. Jumana plays the role of the lover who madly obsesses over Aziz, but learns that he does not love her as she deserves. She comes to see herself as a delicate butterfly with wings that have been subjected to injustice and tyranny by her beloved Aziz. In time, she also comes to recognise that her lover is mighty, cruel and authoritarian. With this great injustice and the destruction of dreams woven in mind and heart over long days and nights, Jumana finally has to reconcile herself to the loss of everything, for all that she has sacrificed so much for the sake of Aziz. The raw examination of a woman in unconditional love. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.…
