My Love Weeps is a poetry collection that captures the beauty and ache of love in a world where romance often feels forgotten. With poems that highlight love and desire and poems that touch on heavy topics like abuse and heartbreak, My Love Weeps imparts raw emotion and honest reflection and reminds us that yearning, longing, and passion still pulse deeply within this generation.

Divided into three sections—My Love, MySelf, and My Weeps—Astrus* takes readers on a journey through his own experiences: from falling in love, to finding himself, to facing heartbreak. As a young adult navigating the same struggles and emotions as his readers, Astrus* writes with a voice that feels both intimate and universal. This book is for the true lovers, for the ones healing, for those who have felt pain before, and to the generation that feels as if romance is dead.

Whether you’re in love, heartbroken, or still searching for what those feelings mean, My Love Weeps offers something to hold onto. Because poetry is alive—and so is longing.

Jacob Caldera, known professionally as Astrus*, is a musician from Dallas, Texas who has been creating music since the age of fourteen. By eighteen, he had fully committed to pursuing music as a career, pouring everything into his craft. After years of releasing music independently, Astrus* signed to a label in 2021 before returning to his independent roots in 2023-continuing to evolve and grow on his own terms.

With global tours under his belt and over 100 million streams, Astrus* has built a name that resonates far beyond his hometown. His journey through young adulthood has been one of transformation-marked by sold-out shows, a path to sobriety, and a deepening connection with God.

My Love Weeps marks a new chapter for Astrus*-serving as both his first book and sixth studio album, a reflection of the beauty and struggle that have shaped his life and art.
