Love: little word, lots of trouble. Sort of. When I first thought of doing this book I didn't really know how to go about it. After all, there's more to write about love than pretty much anything else ever. Take away love and you'd have no music charts, no magazines, no books, no relationships, no life, no God, no anything really. Love really does seem to have wriggled its way into almost every part of our lives. Remember falling in love for the first time? Remember how great that first kiss felt and tasted? Remember all that heartache and pain that seems to follow love around like a really bad smell?

I guess what I’ve done is take a snap-shot look at what love's all about. From the highs to the lows, from teenage love to the big 'M' word. A collection of prayers on stuff that you may or may not have experienced, that you may be going through and that you may well be about to go through. There's no way that every part of what love's about for each person is covered in this book. And I for one am very thankful for that - it would be a very long and very scary book indeed! What I do hope, though, is that you will be able to dip into it and find something that touches a chord, makes you think, makes you remember, makes you smile, and helps you to see a glimpse of God's role in it all and in you.
