The Problem of Us
(c) Stefania Lucchetti, from "Love Poems"

"I don’t believe the stars
have ever paused to ponder
the problem of us:
what fate to grant us,
whether to keep us close
or let us drift apart."

FROM THE EDITORIAL REVIEW on REEDSY Discovery:
“This collection of poetry is for those who have loved deeply, lost profoundly, and dared to hope for love still. Offering love in all forms, in all seasons, for all ages, these poems feel real .. - honest, intimate, and enduring.”
---------------------
A celebration of love in all its radiant voices: whispered, remembered, lost, reclaimed.
In this collection, Stefania Lucchetti offers new poems as well as beloved poems from earlier books, guiding readers through a luminous journey across the landscapes of the heart. Written in English and Italian, these poems echo the timeless rhythms of desire, devotion, longing, and the miracles of human connection.
Love Poems invites the reader into an intimate dialogue: between languages, between lovers, between the self we show and the self we guard. With lyrical elegance and emotional depth, the collection moves from the emotional explosions of first encounters to the shadows of separation, from the fierce clarity of passion to the soft endurance of memory.
Whether exploring the sacred vulnerability of touch or the pain that follows a final goodbye, these poems blend classical Italian lyricism with contemporary poetic sensibility. The result is a book that feels at once ancient and modern, personal and universal.
With her refined yet deeply human voice, Lucchetti illuminates what it means to love: fiercely, imperfectly, courageously. Whether read in Italian or English, these poems resonate with music, sensuality, and emotional truth.
Love Poems is a tribute to lovers, to those who have loved and lost, and to all who continue to believe in the transformative power of connection.
