Dust jacket with Caroline Durieux blue and orange pelican, ship, and ocean waves illustration decorating the both panels and spine; usual light soiling to panels with slight toning to spine; nicks and short tears at edges; front flap retains publisher's printed price ($6.50) at top right corner. Dark green cloth; bright gilt stamping to spine and front board; light bumping to spine heel and to boards' bottom fore-edge corners. Past owner's ink signature at front free endpaper's top right; several page corners creased from past fold-downs; interior pages are otherwise clean. Binding is firm.
