"For all the time I ve known Rosie, she s always had a lot on her plate , and flipping through these pages, I sense a pace, energy and colour that reflects that. This is very much of the food I imagined Rosie to bring to life in her book. Her recipes draw from los of difference influences, cuisines, and styles, and yet manifest in a youthful, fresh, uncomplicated way." Vivek Singh

"Stuffed full of clever recipes I wish I d written, and am desperate to try, this gorgeous, colourful book is as fun, and as lively as the very talented Rosie herself. I am very jealous. Felicity Cloake, journalist and author of Perfect
'Rosie's food is modern and clever yet comforting and familiar, and this recipe book is nothing short of brilliant.' Lulu Grimes, Olive Magazine
Observer 'Rising Star' Rosie Birkett is a renowned food writer, food stylist and cook based in Hackney, East London. She has been writing about food for newspapers, magazines and websites for years, penning features and recipes, and cooking beautiful food for the camera for the likes of The Guardian, The Independent, Jamie Magazine, Olive, Waitrose Kitchen, Sainsbury's Magazine and Grazia.
Rosie Birkett is a young food writer I admire. She has bags of energy and good ideas. A Lot On Her Plate is packed full of accessible ideas from quick suppers for one to feasts for friends (she's a fixture on the London scene and knows everybody), and more than that, both the design and tone of the book are friendly. As you'd expect from someone who interviews chefs and restaurateurs all the time, she references them openly and shares their tips. Lovely. Lisa Markwell, editor of the Independent on Sunday
During her time as a food writer Rosie has travelled the world to report on different cuisines, spending extended stints in Vietnam, Mexico, North America and Europe - all of which informs her vibrant, approachable, globally-inflected recipes. Rosie has appeared on Sunday Brunch and Masterchef series 9 and has her own blog and youtube channel A Lot On Her Plate where she shares her inventive cooking ideas. She has amassed a foodie following of over 30k online through her Twitter and Instagram accounts and contributed to various cookbooks including Phaidon's Where Chefs Eat; and authored Alain Ducasse's foodie guide to London, J'aime London.
