Neuware - For fans of Rich Roll's Finding Ultra, Jedidiah Jenkins' To Shake the Sleeping Self, Robert M. Pirsig's classic Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and Mark Manson's The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F\*\*\*.At 36, writer, photographer, and cyclist T. A. Rhodes (pen name) left behind a successful career in the Los Angeles music industry, working for top tech companies and a major record label, to study Public Policy and Behavioral Science in New York City. Two years later, grappling with the highs of completing graduate school, and the lows of career uncertainty, a painful breakup, and the torment of trying to justify life choices even he struggled to explain, Rhodes sought a fresh start. Boarding a flight to Milan, he embarked on a transformative 46-day solo cycling journey across Italy and Portugal. The Lost Art of Searching is a memoir that explores identity, personal growth, and the complex interplay of values, love, growth, and well-being. Framed by a travel and cycling narrative, it immerses readers in the historic city centers and awe-inspiring landscapes of Italy and Portugal, delivering vivid, evocative scenes that inspire both reflection and wanderlust. At its heart, the memoir challenges societal norms of masculinity, following Rhodes as he confronts deeply ingrained cognitive barriers and the decades of stigma that prevent so many men from embracing vulnerability, pursuing personal transformation, and seeking a more fulfilling life. In the process, Rhodes redefines what it means to be strong in a culture that equates strength with silence, emotional suppression, and status.Ultimately, The Lost Art of Searching reminds us that the true journey isn't about finding definitive answers but about embracing the moments, connections, and relationships that guide us forward-one pedal stroke at a time.Published independently under Send Everything, LTD sendeverythingpublishing (dot) com.…
