These book are in very good condition. There are no signatures, bookplates, or markings of any kind in any of the books. They all have their original dustjackets. The jackets spines are slightly faded and the jacket on the Return of the King has a small nick. The set comes with its original slipcase in very good condition with some light rubbing. The pages are clean and free of any foxing. A rare set of Tolkien's classic work.
