How can a sinner be accepted as righteous by a holy God? This question was at the heart of the Reformation and remains a vital part of Christianity today. In The Lord Our Righteousness, Puritan Obadiah Grew expounds the classic Protestant doctrine of justification. Grew emphasizes the glorious basis for our justification: Christ's righteousness credited to all believers. With pastoral wisdom, Grew helps us understand and apply the doctrine of justification by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

Obadiah Grew (1607-1689) Was a Puritan minister in Coventry, England. By 1682, he had become blind and was imprisoned for preaching. While in jail, he dictated sermons that were distributed and read in gatherings.
